By providing your personal information to be registered as an Interested & Affected Party (“I&AP”) on this project you provide consent to Ukwazi to keep and use your personal information for this authorisation process and any amendments or appeal processes in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (Act 4 of 2013) (“POPIA”). Your personal information will only be used for the purposes of the authorisation process for which you are registering as an I&AP.

Note that by registering on this project you automatically provide your consent to be part of the project’s I&AP database. By consenting, your personal information (e.g. name, affiliation, contact details, personal views and opinions) may be noticeable to other persons interested in this project. Any personal information provided in deliverables produced as part of the authorisation process will however be gathered, stored, used and distributed exclusively for the purpose of the authorisation process or any amendments or appeal processes that may follow. Note that it is the I&APs responsibility to inform Ukwazi should any contact information change.

I&APs should be aware that the documents may not be utilised for any purpose, other than that for which it was provided. No additional copies may be made of documents containing personal information unless permission has been obtained from the owner of said information. All documentation containing personal information must be destroyed as soon as the purpose for which the information was collected has run out.

Should you wish to withdraw your consent in future you can contact Ukwazi in writing to request for your details to be removed from the database. Your personal information will then be removed from all reports that will be published from that date onwards.
